LATEST PROJECTS 2020 -2021

THE COMING BACK OUT BALL - NATIONAL THEATRE OF SCOTLAND

Although the performance aspect of this projects is postponed indefinitely due to Coronavirus, Jamie is working on immersive animation and projection designs for this celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse, and Intersex elders to be hosted at  future date at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow.

EMERGENCE - MULL THEATRE
CHILDREN'S CLASSIC CONCERT - PETER & THE WOLF

Jamie is collaborating with the orchestra and a deaf performer to find an accessible visual art interpretation of Prokofiev's masterpiece for children.  He will be employing elements of sound reactive visuals and generative abstract graphics for a preview in 2021

RED/AMBER/GREEN

A concept design for an outdoor media instillation that presents local voices opinions on climate change. More info here

Two brand new plays, Strange Rocks and Undocumented, for the theatre - staged and filmed for a digital run in October 2020. Jamie directed the filming process from conceiving the lighting, through to camera work and the final edit. The project has been received with great critical claim for managing to bring the theatrical experience alive on film despite the limitations place by the pandemic.

NOT ALL ISOLATION IS EQUAL - Shelter and Place

A collaboration with Irish artists Peter Power and Leon Butler for Carlow and Cork Midsummer Ars Festival 2020.  A 3d VR map was created of living spaces to build a digital monument to our unseen stories and quarantine spaces. Jamie's home can be visited here:Link

Docma LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE

A  short one minute film based on the concept of BED

9 films were presented from 45 film makers from around the world.
