Jamie Wardrop is a Glasgow based theatre maker and designer who has tours work nationally and internationally. He is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire’s BA Acting Course.  Jamie draws on a wealth of experience from 3d animation, installation, composing, live video, projection mapping, devising and lighting design.

In 2017 he collaborated with Marc Brew Company, Toonspeak, 10ftTall Theatre Company, Junction 25, Solar Bear, Tron Theate, Paul Michael Henry/Scottish Mental Health Festival, Platform, Hidden Door Festival, Harry Giles and Sita Pieraccini.

This year, Jamie has toured his critically acclaimed immersive theatre production The Dwelling Place to the highlands.  He will present an outdoor visual spectacle with Cora Bisset in a geodesic dome in George Square for the European Championships.

He has created live visuals in club nights for some of the biggest names in techno/electro such as Nina Kraviz, Jackmaster, Errors, Skream, Speedy J, George Fitzgerald, Boiler Room in venues such as Kelvingrove Museum, SWG3, The Art School, Glasgow and for large festivals such as the main stage at T In The Park. 

He is director of Glasgow Theatre And Arts Collective - a rehearsal studio that supports the development of new work through access to affordable space.

Jamie creates original and inventive work for an extensive range of artistic contexts. His work is grounded primarily in the integration of live performance and digital technology. ​ His work aims for the heartfelt expression of ideas; striking visual articulation and visionary conceptualism.
